How they work: Athens-based dealmobs and Discount Forest post a different deal nearly every day, such as paying $5 for a $10 ticket to Falling Creek Farms for hay rides and haunted trails or paying $25 for a $60 one-hour massage at Classic Hair and Spa.
More info: A certain amount of people must buy the deal before it can be used, so dealmobs and Discount Forest encourage sharing the deal via Twitter or Facebook. Coupons, which arrive by e-mail the morning after a successful deal and usually expire in three to six months. Deals can also be purchased as gifts.

How it works: Buy a $12 coupon book with mostly buy-one-get-one-free deals from more than 115 Athens businesses to support nonprofit organizations. The most recent book’s coupons expire in April.
