There is no true way for me to express my love for “So Fresh & So Green, Green” by Terrapin that wouldn’t get me shunned by society.
This beautiful beverage is of the India Pale Ale variety, a style of beer that is known for its bitter flavor created by extra hop added to the beer.
The color of the beer is a nice amber color and carries with it a creamy white head and a fine amount of carbonation. I have heard quite a lot from various people that they don’t like “bitter beer.”

For those of you out there who don’t want to experience the travesty of having a beer destroy your taste buds, fear not — the folks at Terrapin are pretty crafty with their hops.
In fact, this beer makes you re-examine what hops mean to beer. Instead of a “kick you in the face and steal your lunch money” kind of taste, the beer is amazingly citrusy. The entire bitter flavor is up-front and relatively mild.
It really is all about the nice flowery aroma and citrus finish of this wonderful libation. It’s a wonderful session beer for parties, dinners or just hanging out with people you don’t hate.
Screw “drinkability” — what does that even mean? Urine is “drinkable,” but it doesn’t mean I want to sip on it at a party.
Freshness this good can be found on tap at local bars and in 22-oz. bottles.
